The mosaiced needlewoman chairs are part of the mosaiced furniture collection that finds its inspiration in the element 'water" and romanesque motifs.
This couple is made of two restored chairs of walnut wood originated in Italy in the beginning of the 20th century. Once it was used by needlewoman, one arm could lay on the armrest while working. Hillsideout has replaced the original sitting made of transparent acrylic and coloured tiles which are immersed in resin.
The transparency and colours permit a new way of using antique chairs, which makes them contemporary and even more unique.
Used materials: wooden chairs from 1910, different woods like handcrafted walnut and elm wood, acrylic, epoxy resin
